Rachel & Kyle’s wedding at High Country Tree Farm in Sorrento, BC was the first wedding of my busy summer wedding season. I was born and raised in Kamloops and spent a lot of summers at the Shuswap as a kid so it was such a treat to go back and photograph a wedding there. Most of Rachel and Kyle’s guests travelled from all over BC and Alberta so it was kind of like a destination wedding for them. They had a ton of games and activities to keep their guests happy and it was such a fun, relaxed day. Rachel’s dad performed the ceremony which was really sweet and emotional and we ended the day with a sunset stroll around the property for photos.

I can’t rave enough about how beautiful this venue is. Everywhere I turned was a another gorgeous photo op. Its run by the sweetest mother/ daughter duo and you can tell from all of their thoughtful details that they just love hosting weddings on their stunning property. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to start my summer season!
