Hi, I’m Lisa
I’m so happy you found me! I’ve been capturing lovers and families for more than a decade and have been lucky to photograph over 200 weddings and countless families.
When I’m not shooting you can find me hanging out with my two kids and my doodle named Harvey. I’m happiest soaking up the Calgary sunshine and enjoying everything Alberta has to offer. I’m a transplant and grew up in the Okanagan and Vancouver so I’m a BC girl at heart. I’m happy to report that the sushi in Calgary is just as delicious as in Vancouver!
I believe that happy, relaxed people make the best subjects. I’ll do whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera to create candid, timeless images of you and your loves. I’ve been told I have a calming presence on a wedding day so I’ve claimed it as my super power. I gravitate toward creating images that feel authentic, relaxed and joyful over moments that feel posed and formal. If you value authentic, candid photos then I’m your girl.

FAQs
What is your photography style?
I thrive off candid moments and authentic people. I try my best to be a fly on the wall and let moments unfold naturally. I will direct you a bit during the portrait portion of your day to make sure you’re in the good light and looking amazing but for the most part it’ll just be you, doing what you do.
What kind of sessions do you offer?
During the summer I mostly shoot weddings but I also offer engagement sessions and absolutely love photographing maternity, newborn and family sessions.
What areas so you work in?
I’m based in Calgary so I love sessions in some of my favourite spots around the city. We are so lucky to have the Rocky Mountains in our back yard and I spend a lot of time photographing weddings in Canmore, Banff and Kananaskis. I’m a BC girl originally so I love any opportunity to travel to the Okanagan, Shuswap and Kamloops. Travel and new destinations are what inspire me so I’m always excited to shoot destination weddings, anywhere that you’re dreaming of.
Are you flexible on pricing?
During prime wedding season (June - October) I only offer full wedding packages on weekends but I’m always willing to chat about different offerings in the off season and on weekdays and weekends. I’m always open to accommodating smaller budgets for new venues and locations that I really want to work at so let’s chat!
