Smoky Calgary Summer Maternity Session

We were debating if we should reschedule Melinda’s summer maternity session because it was a very smoky day in Calgary. After a lot of back and forth we decided to just go for it. Thankfully we did because their sweet baby arrived early, not long after our shoot. It’s sad of course, because climate change but I kind of love the way the smoke comes out in photos. It was such a gorgeous summer night in the trees and Melinda absolutely nailed her outfit choice. I love the photos that we were able to capture of this beautiful time in her life.
