Brady Creek Ranch Wedding - Invermere, BC - Kat & Travis

Kat & Travis’s lakeside wedding at Brady Creek Ranch in Invermere was such a dream. I’m a BC girl so I love any opportunity to travel to my home province and shoot. The Kootenays are so close to Calgary but somewhere that I haven’t spent much time exploring. Being surrounded by the water and mountains kind of reminded me of my hometown Kamloops in the summer. The ranch itself is stunning. It looks out over the lake with the green pastures in the background. I actually get to go back and shoot another wedding this fall and I can’t wait.

It was the most chill day and Kat and Travis were so relaxed and fun to hang out with. About 3o seconds before we were supposed to start the portrait portion of the day it started raining, harder than I think I’ve ever seen it rain (and I lived in Vancouver). They totally rolled with it, opened a bottle of champagne and her mom made us all sandwiches while we waited it out. They brought this chill vibe into the rest of the day as well with a beautiful lakeside ceremony, amazing buffet dinner in the restored barn and even a gelato cart for dessert.
